I've really fallen off the blogging band-wagon lately - life has been, interesting. This will probably be a long one since it's been quite some time. "MADE" is on right now, trying to teach 3 kids to do Soulja Boy's "Bird Walk" or something like that...kinda funny.

What's happend...New Years was fun, yet ridiculous. I went down to Orlando for the Capital One Bowl and we decided to hit up Disney World while we were in town. No one mentioned to us that Disney's busiest day is New Years Eve. I'm not talking an hour wait line, I'm talking MINIMUM 2 hours, even for Dumbo!! We went to the Magic Kingdom and MGM, which I refuse to call by its new name of "Hollywood Studios" because you just can't go and change the name of a park in Disney, its not right! We also had a 4 1/2 hour delay on the way down when Tina (the Trailblazer) decided to D-I-E. We were stuck in Valdosta for quite some time while she got a quick-fix at the Cad-e-lac shop.

This was the pretty-ness that was Cinderella's Castle. I've always been biased and liked Sleeping Beauty better but I give Cinderelly props on her decor!

MGM has a light show at night that some rich girl's daddy donated. If my child ever asked to decorate outside for Christmas, I'd def agree...but this is ridiculous. The guy decorated his house/yard, then bought the two surrounding houses+property to add to it! Seriously?? It was set to music and had "dancing lights." Needless to say my jaw hit the ground it was so cool. AND...it snowed. It snowed at the MK as well but there were so many people on Main Street it was ridiculous and we avoided it as much as possible.

So after a day in both parks, we stood in two lines - 1 to take the usual picture with the Mouse, the 2nd because I REALLY wanted to meet Prince Caspian. :)

Did I mention the Magic Kingdom was open til 2am? Yeah, thousands of 10 year olds running off sugar energy in the happiest place in the world until the wee-hours of the morning. HOLY COW, who's idea was that?? I really had hoped everyone would leave after the Christmas fireworks show but no...they all kept their seats ON main street after the 8:00 show until the 11:50 show. Hardcore dedication those Mouseketeers!! They were blaring music over the main speakers in the park, which just added such madness as the "Chicken Dance", the "Macarena" and other catchy tunes to the madness! Don't get me wrong, I had a blast!!! But I'm looking forward to our usually March trip when the average wait time is about 10 minutes and the weather is just perfect!

The bowl game was fun - UGA was victorious although we pretty much knew it was our last time to see Stafford and Knowshon play. (which was later confirmed that they are going to the NFL) It was hot, then it was cold, which was the only frustrating part. We had decided to drive back to Ga after the game, which we questioned later. We ate at a Cracker Barrel on the way home and met some nice Michigan State people. Can you believe they drove 15 hours to the game?? Hello!!?? D-E-L-T-A!!!

Other than that, I had a great, QUICK, trip to Milly to see Callan and J. I'm counting down until our trip to Atlanta to see Danielle. Yay for a city night that doesn't involve downtown Athens! I'm so glad school is finally starting back - a month off seemed super awesome at the beginning but by week 3 I was ready for some routine. The wedding-diet has started - so far I've found the 4 pounds my mom has lost in her first week....Hmmm??

until next time XOXO
